From 5 to 13 October Mercante in fiera exhibition will come back to Parma. The event, repeated twice a year (in spring and autumn) is a real antiquarian village, in which more than a thousand exhibitors, from all the major European antique markets, exhibit their discoveries to tens of thousands of professional visitors, collectors and memory hunters.
The two side temporary exhibitions will be entitled “In her Shoes. Two steps in the history of footwear ”(in collaboration with the Footwear Museum of Villa Foscarini Rossi) and “Collection Bonanni Del Rio, the Italian choice” (with shots from the collection of Lucia Bonanni and Mauro del Rio of the BDC art gallery of Parma).
Among the absolute novelties, you will enjoy a space entirely dedicated to Russia and its origins, a sort of rediscovery of the artisan tradition of that country, the space of Science4art to give support to all visitors interested in buying pieces at the Fair (on Wednesdays and Thursday) and the innovative Fingerprint Authentication System service.
Furthermore, on October 13th, for lovers of the history of watchmaking, the theme conference on Big Ben in London will be held, promoted by AISOR – Italian Association of Watchmaking Scholars who will be present as Chris McKay’s speaker.
