On Tuesday September 3, the historic core of Parma will be transformed into a suggestive open-air gourmet restaurant, for 1,000 guests. Norbert Niederkofler will be the guest star of that event and he will collaborate with Parma Quality Restaurants Team: the three-star Michelin chef, promoter of the “Cook The Mountain” philosophy, will prepare the dessert.
The “Thousand-People Dinner” will have a charitable purpose: the funds raised will be handed over to Emporio Solidale Parma, which helps more than 1,000 families in trouble.
The gastronomic proposal will definitely be top-quality both for the excellence of the raw materials used – the challenge consists in enhancing a unique heritage in an original way, ranging from Parmigiano Reggiano DOP and Parma ham to pasta, from pulped tomato to Parma anchovies, and finally to milk – and for the chefs involved, who, all of them, have given up their reward for that event.
Everything will be organized thanks to the commitment of the Consorzio of Parmigiano Reggiano DOP and Prosciutto di Parma DOP and of great actors of food industry such as Barilla, Mutti, Rodolfi Mansueto, Parmalat, Delicius Rizzoli, L’Isola d’Oro, Rizzoli Emanuelli and Zarotti.
