Arona between art and taste

Arona is one of the well-known touristic destinations on the shores of Lake Maggiore. It is situated on its south -western one, just opposite Angera.
The nice resort has a long lakeside view promenade and important monuments you will discover strolling along its historical centre. Then you will visit a “hidden” farm: a leader concern for the most important Italian cheese ageing and ripening, where you will enjoy a special tasting

Meeting with an English-speaking driver at Stresa or Baveno and transfer to Arona by private car/minivan. The sculpture was projected by Giovan Battista Crespi, nicknamed “Il Cerano”, and made during XVII century. It is 23- metre high (35-metre high with its pedestal) and tourists are allowed to climb inside it, and to reach the saint’s eyes to enjoy an unusual panoramic view over the lake.
