Meeting with a licensed tour guide in Parma. Transfer to a family-owned farm by car/minivan in order to enjoy 7,000 pieces of Culatello di Zibello (prime-cut ham) in an evocative seasoning cellar and a special corridor, together with other specialties. At the end a tasting based on 2 glasses of local red wines -Lambrusco and Fortana del Taro-, combined with a chopping board of sliced salami and homemade bread.
Then, transfer to Reggia di Colorno (Ducal Palace), well-known as “the Versailles Palace of the Dukes of Parma”, characterized by decorated and elegant rooms, impressive courtyards, a baroque church and a beautiful French and English-style garden. It also houses the ALMA (International School of Italian Cuisine). Back to Parma.
